The entrepreneurs of the media, IT and telecommunication sector are still satisfied on a high level: According to the current medien.barometer 2013/14 62% of the media entrepreneurs in Berlin-Brandenburg are satisfied or very satisfied with the business development in 2013. The satisfaction was particularly high within the interactive media companies – with almost three-quarter positive replies of the interviewed persons in the internet/social media/mobile-sector (73%) as well as in the games-sector (67%).

Commissioned by media.net and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg the medien.barometer once a year explores the economic climate for the regional media, IT and telecommunication sectors. The survey conducted by Trend Research maps the economic development and mood of the capital region. Thus trends are discovered and strategies that strengthen the location are derived.
