Familien-Film-Live-Konzert: „Die unendliche Geschichte“
Monika Grütters, Minister of State for Culture, has lent the German Short Film Award 2018 in Potsdam on 28 November. The prize is the most important award for short films in Germany. There were twelve short films in five categories this year. The Film University of Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF can be proud to have won one of the coveted awards: RÅ was awarded the golden Lola in the category „Film from more than 10 minutes to 30 minutes".
The international reputation of the German Short Film Award „is demonstrated by the fact that almost all winning films automatically qualify for the Oscar selection process", emphasised the Minister of State for Culture Grütters in her speech at the beginning of the award ceremony in the Waschhaus Potsdam. It was organized in cooperation with the Babelsberg Film University „We are delighted to have been able to organize this special event this year", said President Prof. Dr. Susanne Stürmer. „First and foremost, I congratulate the laureates. With their projects, they have impressively shown that short film is a highly demanding, current and absolutely diverse format.“
