    PRIX EUROPA takes place in Potsdam for five years

    The trimediale festival PRIX EUROPA will take place as a fixed event in the calendar of events of the state capital Potsdam for the next five years. Mayor Jann Jakobs, the director of the host Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb), Patricia Schlesinger and festival director Susanne Hoffmann have now signed an agreement.

    PRIX EUROPA was founded in 1987 in Berlin and has since been hosted by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg. In 1997 the festival merged with the Prix Futura Berlin. The festival is mainly supported by European institutions and 21 European broadcasters, including rbb and Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen.
