The MediaTech Hub Potsdam is one of twelve Digital Hubs in Germany and on June 14, the official starting signal was given at this year´s medientreff in Babelsberg!
Important actors from the site, the minister of economy in Brandenburg Albrecht Gerber and Potsdam´s mayor Jann Jakobs explained the next steps in order to steer a good course. For certain measures, especially targeted marketing and the coordination of the Hubs, there will for example be a shared support. The actors of the MediaTech Hub initiate and develop independently shared lighthouse projects. They show how strong the innovation boost can be if different industries work on solutions together and overlapping industries. These projects will be presented on future events and are communicated through the channels of the partners.

Resulting, the MediaTech Hub Potsdam will establish itself as an extraordinary contact point for all those who are interested in the future of media technologies, the possibilities of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in entertainment and Digital Engineering.

A special focus will be on the cooperation with the industry. Until the installation of an own Hub management the network media:net berlinbrandenburg will operate as the speaker of the MediaTech Hub Potsdam.
