The two winning teams of “Startbüro Babelsberg“  moved into the oldest studio complex in the media city where Marlene Dietrich acted and Fritz Lang worked on “Metropolis“: the Marlene-Dietrich-Hall. Here, both teams can fully concentrate on their projects and profit from their creative surroundings. Moreover, the winners are supported both financially with 10.000 € and practically by mentors of the partners from Medienboard, ILB, Studio Babelsberg and the Film University.

The elected projects in this 3rd year of the stipend are “Valentine – Bleistift auf beigem Papier“ (AT), a Virtual Reality sound-installation from artist couple Martina and Kurt Widorski, and the “Deutsche Filmdatenbank“, a data base developed by the 5-people -startup “Greenlight Analytics”. 

At the winner´s introdoction, the initiators of “Startbüro“ were enthusiastic about the plurality of high quality applications reflecting the creative talents and great innovations of Babelsberg.
